Ann Black has represented members on the Labour Party's National Executive Committee and the National Policy Forum from 2000 to 2018 and again since 2020. She currently serves on the organisation and equalities committees, the complaints and disciplinary subcommittee, the business board, the joint policy committee and the safe and secure communities policy commission. She chaired the NEC from 2009/2010. She is secretary of the Oxford & District Labour Party and a member of UNISON. As a constituency representative elected directly by individual members, Ann is committed to consulting and reporting back, and always welcomes views.
