Scottish Devo-Max

We should start exploring ideas around devo-max or even as far as full federalisation for Scotland (and potentially other countries/regions too).

As an Edinburgh resident, I can see there is much work to be done in order to get Scottish labour back to the position it enjoyed a few years ago.

It is my belief that the independence question will continue to be a bane to us, much like Brexit has been. My consideration falls to the idea that we need to provide a reasonable alternative to similarly outmanoeuvre the SNP's independence push as well as diminish the Scottish Conservative's anti-independence message. Pre-Indy ref, polls suggested majority support for devo-max. I propose that the party begin a message suggesting support for a devo-max style system.

This would undoubtedly command great popularity with the Scottish electorate as well as simultaneously nullifying both the SNP's and Scottish Conservative's main messages.

It may further be worth exploring the idea of fully federalising the for nations within the UK, which could also go down well in England and Wales, however my knowledge of how such a system might work is admittedly limited.
