On International Women’s Day 2021, the Shadow International Development Team launched a new policy consultation: Achieving Gender Equality in Development. Led by Shadow Secretary of State Preet Kaur-Gill MP and Shadow Minister Yasmin Qureshi MP, this consultation will look at building a development policy that prioritises the needs of women and girls to support gender equality, and match these with the right resources.

With seven key questions to answer, we are encouraging as many Party members, affiliates and stakeholders as possible to respond.

You do not need to answer every question, nor is there a specific way to answer them. We suggest using the questions to stimulate and develop your thoughts on what you think are the main issues in the consultation’s policy area.

Once you have written up your response, you can submit it to us here. If you are new to Labour Policy Forum, you can learn more about how to make an online submission here.

When making a submission, please select Achieving Gender Equality in Development in the submission form.
