Today Labour has launched its General Election Manifesto 2017. This manifesto shows a fairer Britain is possible with a Labour government that would put the interests of the many before those of the few.

We want to thank everyone who has been involved in Labour’s policy development process, made contributions and participated in our consultations, at meetings and events, online and in person. Your views and ideas have fed into the manifesto process and form an important part of what we have published today.

Issues that the National Policy Forum identified as priorities such as visible community policing; investing in Sure Start; investment in skills and infrastructure; and early intervention in mental health issues are part of the wider offer we are taking forward to create shared prosperity and protect our public services, give the NHS the money it needs and deliver good teaching in good schools for all our children.
