Our Digital Future Report

Labour wants Britain to be the best place to grow up and grow in. We want empowered citizens who do not merely have access to the internet, but who are equipped with the skills and tools to make the most of technology and who are protected from those who use it cause harm. We want people to have greater control over their online lives, and for the UK to be at the forefront of innovation so that everyone can benefit from the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

This is why we held an open consultation entitled Our Digital Future, held between August and October 2020. Over 600 submissions were received from across civil society and industry, and we are grateful for the diversity of this feedback. The below report sets out our consultation findings and some throughts on what might come next.
